At MTF we provide asset finance and personal loans to individuals and businesses, undertaking our own lending assessments and looking for sales opportunities. We pride ourselves on making lending about people again, so critical to our success is the ability to work with customers to understand their circumstances and make sound and responsible lending decisions. This role requires sound analytical and communication skills as you’ll be engaging with customers and working collaboratively with our network and National Office.
This is a part-time permanent position (30-35 hours a week). You will be working within a small team of staff including the owner of the business to help keep our office running efficiently. The role involves managing non-performing accounts by engaging with the customer to assist in rectifying the problem in an acceptable timeframe, managing the daily dishonoured loan repayments, outbound and inbound customer calls, calling past & current customers advising of our new products and compiling & uploading documentation, ensuring fulfilment of compliance requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing our ledger by ensuring arrears are well maintained and up to date. You will work with customers by putting arrangements in place to provide positive outcomes and results.
* Helping customers with hardship and payment waiver applications.
* Maintaining customer relations with inbound and outbound service calls.
* Ensuring your work is completed accurately, efficiently, and professionally.
* Assisting the team with documentation and day-to-day tasks.
* Carrying out general office administration duties.
Necessary skills and experience:
* Experience in a credit management role.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with inbound and outbound collections calls.
* A proven track record in performing all credit control functions whilst maintaining customer relations.
* A self-starter who will own the role with very little supervision.
* Organised and efficient with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
* An eye for detail, an investigative mind and a drive for problem solving.
* High levels of integrity and privacy, able to maintain strict confidentiality.
* Confident working with numbers and can grasp new technology products quickly.
