We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Headmaster. Responsibilities of this high-profile role include managing confidential correspondence, drafting and summarising documents, coordinating diary commitments, maintaining records, and liaising with pupils, staff, parents, and external stakeholders. In addition to supporting the Headmaster, the role includes leading a small team of reception staff, ensuring outstanding customer service.
The ideal candidate will have strong proven experience as a PA to a senior manager, preferably gained within a school setting, along with excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills. They must be proficient in Microsoft Office, highly literate and numerate, and able to draft and proofread documents to a high standard. Strong attention to detail, discretion and the ability to prioritise tasks independently while working under pressure are essential in addition to initiative and professionalism.
Hours are full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Very occasional evening working is required when overseeing School events.
