We are looking for an HR Employee Relations Advisor to join our HR team, based in Nottingham. The overall purpose of this role is to support the HR Manager with a caseload of employee relations matters, in accordance with current employment legislation and Company policy. This is a great opportunity to work with all levels across the business and support both Managers and employees with HR related issues. The role comes with flexible start/finish times and hybrid working. The Role To be accountable for case management within relevant departments and provide support and advice on all employee relations matters. Advise on any medical, disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, capability or settlement agreement matters and attend subsequent hearings or meetings. Coach Managers on HR policy and procedures, ensuring that they are adhered to and to up-date. Assist Managers with the implementation of the Managing Absence and Ill Health Policy which includes reviewing monthly Bradford Factor Reports and taking action if required. Provide HR induction training to Managers. Attend training courses and seminars to keep up to date with HR matters and employment legislation. Visit Company locations as and when required. Undertake related HR Project work under liaison with the HR Manager and the Head of HR. Your Skills and Experience Proven experience in a general HR role. Experience of giving consistent advice to Line Managers and employees. Knowledge of HR policies and procedures. Working knowledge of UK Employment Law. Experience working with and handling confidential information. Competent, accurate note taker and able to deliver training. HR experience within a Wholesale and/or Retail environment would be beneficial. Who you are Highly tuned interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal. Able to plan, organise and prioritise workload to set deadlines. Be self-motivated. Skilled in analysing and interpreting data. Approachable, high-tuned interpersonal skills and a good listener.
