Business Development Manager (CCaaS/UCaaS, German-Speaking) Job Title: Business Development Manager (CCaaS/UCaaS) Reports to: Managing Director / Business Unit Role Status: Permanent, Full-Time Language : Fluent in German and English Number Reports: 0 Office Location: UK (3 weeks per month) and Berlin, Germany (1 week per month) Salary : £32k, with performance-based bonuses Role Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with experience in Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) and/or Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS).

You will be given comprehensive training in the technical space we operate in, becoming a product expert, and able to demonstrate our CX platform to clients.
Attending client meetings face to face within the UK, Europe and worldwide, travelling to national and international conferences and exhibitions and industry events, you will forge great relationships and partnerships with industry peers, partners, customers and suppliers.
You must have a keen interest in technology and the ability to apply yourself to learning new systems, you will be managing the sales of rapidly growing product sets in a rapidly changing, dynamic, and highly competitive environment.
You will have the full support and backing of senior sales and technical teams when you need it.
Key Responsibilities New Business Development: Identify, engage, and secure new clients in the CCaaS/UCaaS sector, focusing on the German-speaking market.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Build a robust sales pipeline through market research, prospecting, and networking.
Market Insights and Strategy: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive offerings in the CCaaS/UCaaS space.
Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to ensure our solutions remain competitive and relevant.
Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with the UK-based sales and technical teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
Report on sales activities, forecasts, and key metrics to senior management.
Travel: Spend three weeks each month working with the UK-based team and one week in Berlin engaging with clients and prospects.
Qualifications and Experience · Proven track record in business development or sales within the CCaaS or UCaaS industries.
· Fluency in both German and English is essential.
· Strong understanding of cloud-based communication solutions and their applications in business.
· Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a client-first mindset.
· Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.
· Willingness to travel regularly between the UK and Berlin.

· Prior experience in software sales.
· Experience in customer services would be an advantage.
· Driving license and/or ability to be mobile around UK and EMEA.

· Prepared to take ownership of a task and see it through to the end.
