Network Architect – Critical Infrastructure
Ipswich | £60,564 – £65,564 + up to 15% bonus | Hybrid (3 days office after 6 months)

We’re partnering with a major player in the energy utility sector, seeking a Network Architect to design and unify an advanced telecoms network underpinning the secure delivery of electricity across the UK.
This role is perfect for a strategic thinker and technical SME who thrives in a Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) environment. You’ll be responsible for modernising and converging various legacy and next-gen networks, including fibre, wireless, SDWAN, and even satellite, setting technical and operational standards for years to come.
What you’ll bring:
* Deep expertise across IP/MPLS, SDWAN, SCADA, BGP/OSPF, cellular, optical fibre and satellite networks
* Experience in CNI sectors (e.g. defence, finance, telecoms)
* Strong stakeholder influence with a balance of tech vision and operational impact
