Teespro are working with a leading civil engineering business in Newark, Nottinghamshire, who are seeking a skilled Lead Maintenance Engineer to ensure plant machinery is fit for purpose, supporting the production team in extracting gypsum for our client.
The role of a Lead Maintenance Engineer :
As a Lead Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plant machinery and equipment in a safe, responsible, and efficient manner.
Reporting to the Assistant Plant Manager, you will play a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly.
Carry out diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to plant machinery and equipment
Ensure all work on plant machinery is conducted safely and efficiently
Work closely with the production team to support daily operations
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for plant machinery reliability
NVQ Level 3 in plant maintenance or equivalent qualification
Previous experience working with CAT, Komatsu, and Volvo plant machinery
