This global organisation are a pioneering technology company who are transforming the retail industry with cutting-edge communication solutions. They are on an exciting growth journey and are looking for a People Director to join the Executive Leadership Team.
This is a newly created role, giving you the opportunity to build and execute a People strategy that will attract, develop, and retain top talent while embedding a high-performance culture.
This is a hybrid role, with regular travel to the offices in Shipton-under-Wychwood and Bishops Cleeve for team days, meetings, and business needs.

The Role
As People Director, you will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, partnering closely with the Co-CEO to drive our People agenda. You will play a critical role in scaling our organisation, leading our People function, and ensuring we maintain an outstanding employee experience as we grow.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver a People strategy that supports VoCoVo’s ambitious growth plans.
* Define and implement a compelling Employee Value Proposition (EVP) that attracts and retains top talent.
* Build and lead a high-performing People team, ensuring they operate as true business partners.
* Own and evolve our reward and benefits strategy to foster a high-performance culture.
* Lead talent planning and succession strategy, ensuring we have the right people in the right roles.
* Drive performance management frameworks, embedding a culture of feedback and continuous development.
* Champion employee engagement initiatives, ensuring we create a collaborative and inclusive workplace.
* Provide senior-level strategic guidance on organisational design and workforce planning.
* Act as a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team, providing insight and direction on all People-related matters.
* Lead change management initiatives as we scale, ensuring a seamless transition through periods of growth.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a People / HR Director in a scale-up or high-growth business (ideally within the retail or tech sectors).
* Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to align People strategies with business objectives.
* A track record of leading organisational change, talent development, and performance management.
* Experience coaching and influencing senior leadership teams.
* Ability to create and embed scalable People processes and frameworks.
* Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and reward & benefits strategies.
* Passion for digitalisation and using technology to improve People processes.
* A hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset.

2. 1st stage: Teams meet with internal HR Consultant & Head of People
3. 2nd stage: presentation with 3 x’s Executive team members
4. 3rd stage: 2 x’s Executive team members and a coffee with the People team
5. 4th and final stage: final coffee or lunch with the Exec team
