Requirements:
* We are seeking candidates who have a proven track record of delivering technical output. Essential qualifications include experience and understanding of silicon digital device design characterization, knowledge of silicon process technology and its impact on device performance at both the transistor and system level, and familiarity with high-performance processor and system-on-chip systems. A strong background in high-speed digital interfaces, such as PCIe, Ethernet, or DDR is necessary, along with knowledge of measurement automation and data analysis. You should have the ability to code or script automation and data analysis using appropriate coding languages such as Python or JMP. Additionally, you must demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team, whether independently or with some oversight. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required. Desirable attributes include knowledge of PCBA and system-level technologies, as well as background knowledge of ATE systems and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
* In this role, you will understand the architecture and design of silicon devices and systems and clearly document the requirements for characterization. You will assist in creating product-specific bring-up and characterization plans. Your duties will include executing these plans and creating and maintaining an automated system for running characterization testing, capturing results to a central database, and performing data analysis. You will also conduct manual characterization tests where automation is not appropriate, report regularly on progress and issues to your lead, and produce characterization reports containing platform test results that feed into the overall product characterization report.
