About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Registered Manager to lead one of our four-bed residential children's homes, providing critical oversight, guidance, and support to a dedicated team. The successful candidate will focus on delivering a therapeutic, relationship-based approach to care while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and well-being for our residents.
In this strategic role, you will manage quality assurance, performance, budgeting, and staff development. You will collaborate closely with internal and external partners, ensuring children's voices shape our services.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a four-bed children's home, fostering a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment.
Implement therapeutic practices to support emotional, psychological, and social well-being.
Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations 2015, Ofsted standards, and safeguarding requirements.
Oversee budget management, quality assurance audits, and service improvement action plans.
Mentor and develop staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
Act as an advocate for Doncaster Council and prioritise the needs of the children in your care.About You
Experience: At least 2 years in a relevant role within children's residential care and a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role.
Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Child Care (or willingness to complete within 3 years of appointment).
Skills: Strong therapeutic care knowledge, leadership, communication, and budget management skills.
