Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis. This hybrid role, based in Belfast, offers flexibility for remote work. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing detailed financial reports, and conducting in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making.
In this role, you will also ensure compliance with financial regulations and provide support during financial audits. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly are essential to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate and organized financial records
* Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements
* Monitor budgets and financial performance
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
* Assist with audits and liaise with auditors as required
* Use accounting software and MS Excel for data management and reporting
* Identify opportunities for process improvements
Qualifications:
* Qualified Accountant (CPA or equivalent certification)
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Previous experience in a similar role
