Finance Manager - Hours of work
This is a full-time role, with up to 45 hours per week requiring you to work match days during the football season with time off during the week to compensate.
Finance Manager - role summary
You will oversee the running of all things finance based at Mill Farm, including but not limited to; the accurate and timely production of the Monthly Management Accounts, maintaining robust internal controls and constantly challenging processes and striving for continuous improvement.
Finance Manager - main duties
assist the year end auditors
manage the cash handling processes
oversee sales and purchase ledger and reconciliations
ensure the weekly wages and monthly salaries are completed accurately, on time and reconciling these to the balance sheet
support AFC match days by ordering and managing all cash on the day, ensuring all outlets are complete
total responsibility of stock control
lead, mentor and develop the Finance Team
Finance Manager - personal attributes
Accountancy qualification (ACM/ACCA/ACA)
SAGE 200 experience
Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
Excellent time management skills
Excellent IT skills
Self motivated, enthusiastic, team player
