As a Reliability Engineer, you’ll be responsible for identifying and decreasing asset reliability risks that could affect site operations. You’ll also lead the site’s Asset Reliability Agenda, effectively promoting analytical problem-solving techniques.
Responsibilities
* Play a critical role in the site Asset Reliability Program. Embed Reliability into the site’s Maintenance Strategy and help deliver the medium/long-term improvement agenda. Evaluate site data to predict performance and drive greatest asset performance at the lowest total cost of ownership.
* Develop and enhance the site Remote Condition monitoring system to ensure all critical assets are monitored to eliminate any unplanned failures that would impact site production.
* Own the site's lubrication strategy to ensure all assets are lubricated to the correct frequency using the correct products.
* Ensure all equipment is optimized to deliver site efficiency targets.
* Ownership of the site Major Incident Report (MIR), Analytical Problem Solving (APS), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) systems, facilitating effective closure of actions and improvement.
* Ensure all equipment on site is PepsiCo UK Criticality compliant; support all new projects ensuring 100% Criticality compliance.
* Work closely with Engineering Planners and service teams to deliver against targets.
* Integrate RCM protocols to define, design, monitor, and refine Asset Maintenance Plans that include:
o Value-added preventative maintenance techniques.
o Develop the use of RCM, FMEA, Criticality, and Maintenance Task Optimization.
o Effective utilization of predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies.
* Key stakeholder in delivering PEMM results for the Engineering Support Department– complete ownership of RE and supporting other elements.
* Provide technical support to Operations, Maintenance Management, and specialist functions. Lead the department when the Maintenance Manager is not available.
* Promote a culture of Continuous Improvement aligned to the PepsiCo brand values.
Qualifications
* Time-served engineer with a track record in leading engineering projects/issues.
* HND/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
