Job Title:
Resident Maintenance Engineer
About the Role:
This position involves performing breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery, including cranes, conveyors, vertical lifts, monorail systems, and a deep freeze high bay.
You will work in a cold environment (-18 degrees) and be responsible for undertaking scheduled repairs in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations and industry standard practices.
Prioritizing system faults and ensuring quality of output at all times are key aspects of this role.
You will also accurately record all work undertaken and be involved in continuous improvement projects.
About You:
We are looking for an apprentice-trained Electrical or Mechanical Engineer or equivalent qualification holder.
Experience working with automated machinery is ideal but not essential as training will be provided. You should be happy to work at heights and have effective communication skills at all levels.
A background in working with a CMMS system is also desirable.

Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
