Supporter Development Manager, East Anglia, c£30-£35k DOE
Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Individual Giving Manager to join this rapidly expanding UK wide mental health charity in their East Anglian offices and lead their small team in individual giving and community fundraising. We are seeking a candidate with a demonstrable track record of converting supporter activists into donors and expanding the reach of the organisation and its income streams. You will be creative with excellent CRM database skills and with fundraising databases (we use Raiser’s Edge) and have significant experience in organising and managing fundraising campaigns. Reporting to the Director of Fundraising you will devise, develop and implement an individual giving fundraising strategy (including committed giving, legacy and in memoriam) which will engage current, lapsed and potential supporters across all channels including direct mail, online / digital fundraising and other techniques to maximise revenues and return on investment, building on the work of the established team. You will take responsibility for individual giving campaigns (from messaging, content research and selection, data briefing and management, agency briefing and management, copywriting, print, production and post campaign analysis and reporting.
With at least 3 years or more professional experience in individual giving, you will ideally have some exposure to community fundraising as well as demonstrable line management skills. You can show a proven record in successfully growing supporter bases, giving levels and improving returns on investment. A sound knowledge of individual giving and legacy fundraising supporter journeys as well as solid computer literacy across the MS Office suite of applications and fundraising databases including the setting of protocols, analysis of data and maintaining of data integrity.
