The Role
We are seeking a dynamic Lead Consultant to drive strategic initiatives within a key account. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in project management and engineering to lead client engagements, identify growth opportunities, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive business development. Join us to make a meaningful impact in the nuclear sector and help shape the future of our client relationships.
1. Technical leadership: Utilising years of engineering experience through technical projects and leading others to do the same
2. Account Management: Drive the account forward, ensuring alignment with client objectives and long-term goals
3. Programme/Project Management: Lead and coordinate project activities to fulfil client requirements and drive operational efficiency
4. Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue opportunities within the account

Requirements
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
1. Project Management qualified, with significant experience in the nuclear sector
2. Proven expertise in leading complex projects, from initiation through to completion, with a focus on safety and compliance
3. Strong understanding of engineering principles and nuclear regulations, backed up by Chartership (or chartered status in progress)
4. Ability to effectively engage and manage relationships with various stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, clients, and internal teams
5. Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to ensure successful delivery
6. Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop project teams, fostering a collaborative working environment
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
9. Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations governing energy projects
10. Ideally located in the Southwest
