SEN Teacher - ASC & SALT (Aspire Learning - Croydon)
Horizon Care and Education have an exciting opportunity for a SEN Teacher at Aspire Learning in Croydon!
Aspire Learning is an independent primary school providing inspirational, nurture-based specialist SEND education to pupils aged 5 - 11 years old. We are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join our supportive team.
We are searching for SEN Teachers with experience working with children aged 5-11 with ASC and speech, language, and communication needs. SEN Teachers will need to have experience working with pre-verbal ASC pupils and supporting the development of communication skills using approaches such as PECS, Makaton, Attention Autism, and TEACCH. Some pupils will require an element of personal care and support.

Minimum Requirements:
* QTS or QTLS Qualification and/or relevant experience
* Up-to-date safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge and experience
The ideal candidate should:
* Be an outstanding classroom practitioner.
* Have the energy, passion, and drive to raise standards.
* Have initiative, vision, excellent planning, and organisational skills.
* Have experience of working with students with SEMH and additional needs.
* Have knowledge and understanding of developments in education.
