Salary: Up to £46,500 dependent on experience What you'll be doing: Conducting design activities in a professional manner delivering producible electro-mechanical design solutions to agreed time, cost and quality to meet project or business milestones Capture and understand user requirements and design aims in the preparation of layouts, detail design and drawings together with all lists and documentation to communicate design intent to manufacturers and customers Liaison with Engineers, to ensure that all other related Customer/ Project requirements are incorporated into a producible form embodying value engineering/ design manufacture considerations Your skills and experiences: An appropriate and recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification Experience in Mechanical design Proficient in the use of PTC Creo or Siemens NX CAD systems Working knowledge of SAP configuration or Teamcenter management system would be advantageous Benefits: As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts - you may also be eligible for an annual incentive. The UWBA Design team: The UWBA Design Team are group of CAD Designers working across the entire Underwater Battlespace and Autonomy portfolio, including cutting edge innovative products within technology demonstrator programmes. The team has a variety of experience levels across the key CAD toolsets used within the business, predominantly Siemens NX and PTC Creo.
