CRM and Insights Manager
Birmingham City Football Club are recruiting for a CRM and Insights Manager. You will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, delivering tailored campaigns that maximize fan engagement and loyalty. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved and help make a difference to our marketing engagement at the club.
Working with CRM platforms such as Bloomreach and Yinzcam CDP, you will create personalized strategies to ensure we engage our fans effectively, while contributing to the Club's revenue and brand success.
Please note - this role will require 3 to 4 working days in the office located in Birmingham. The salary range for this role is £45,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. CRM Strategy: Lead the design and execution of fan-centric CRM strategies to enhance engagement, marketing effectiveness, and commercial growth.
2. Email Campaign Leadership: Oversee personalized email campaigns, driving fan engagement through automation, content, and offers.
3. Fan-Centric Marketing: Utilize Yinzcam CDP data to create personalized fan-first strategies, driving deeper engagement, loyalty, and spend.
4. Reporting & Insights: Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on fan data, marketing campaign performance, and ROI.
5. Data Integrity & Compliance: Ensure data hygiene and compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR), maintaining the accuracy and security of fan data.
Essential Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
2. 3-5 years’ experience in CRM management, data-driven marketing, or fan insights, ideally within the sports or entertainment industry.
3. Expertise in CRM platforms (e.g., Bloomreach), email marketing, and CDP systems (e.g., Yinzcam CDP).
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into actionable insights.
5. Proven track record of managing digital campaigns and growing audiences.
6. Comfortable to work in the office 3 to 4 days a week.
Desirable Requirements:
1. Passion for football and an understanding of fan behaviour.
2. Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, digital analytics, and strategies to enhance fan engagement.
3. Familiarity with cybersecurity principles related to fan data protection.
