Role Summary We are looking for a Framework Delivery Manager to join our team to be a part of the continual evolution of the Compendia system and support our Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) Framework. A key role within the department, managing required deliverables to clients under our LGPS Framework, with initial focus on the first client going live within the Framework. Responsible for ensuring delivery to both commercial and technical objectives of Pensions configuration activity within the department to both internal and external administration and software clients under the Framework. The role requires both an understanding of IT/Systems configuration and Pensions domain expertise. Core Duties/Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: To manage the prioritisation and delivery of Business as Usual Support, small change and day 2 / framework deliverables for the EQ LGPS framework. To ensure that all activities are run according to agreed best practice standards. These standards must provide clear visibility to the client, to internal management, and to all members of the team. To maintain and enhance project management standards for areas such as project deliverables, client reporting, staff assignments, phases of testing, risk and quality management. To ensure that all deliverables balance the needs of the client, against the overall needs of the company and any conflicting needs. To maintain and enhance internal reporting mechanisms to ensure that issues are properly reported, monitored, and escalated as appropriate. Issues may include product functionality, financial profitability, divergences from the agreed plan, or issues raised by the client. To provide management information on all areas of performance including resource utilisation, profitability, quality measures. To act as a point of escalation for Framework issues including client complaints, profitability, risk mitigation and risk management, product faults (and work-arounds) and inter-project conflicts (eg over staff assignments or product releases), Commercial Management To provide accurate and timely management information on profitability, grouping together where appropriate (eg multiple projects for the same client). To assist Project Managers and Client Managers with financial negotiations. Client Management To work with Project Managers and Client Managers to ensure that the relationship with LGPS framework clients is of the highest professional standards. To work with Project Managers and Client Managers to maximise the revenue stream from clients through change control and follow-on work. To ensure that all client communications (particularly key control documents such as Project Highlight Reports and the Project Initiation Document) are of a standard form. Quality Management To ensure production of the required products to Equiniti’s standard of quality and on time and to cost. To validate that work is planned so as to make best use of Equiniti’s products and work outside of this has been properly considered. To ensure that work is resource planned. To ensure appropriate adherence to project and quality management procedures To ensure that EQ properly record, monitor, and resolve all issues (including faults and risks). To act as a point of escalation for any quality issues. To ensure that any quality issues are dealt with in an appropriate manner. To instigate Quality Improvement Programmes, as appropriate. Staff Management and Leadership To continuously develop a motivated, professional, technical and commercial approach. To ensure that all members of the team are taking part in Equiniti’s Performance Review Process with clear and measurable objectives being set and including identifying training requirements and/or performance improvements. To regularly review management information which provides an indication of the performance of the team (eg total man days of effort managed over a given period, total client billings over a given period). To compile regular management reports.
