Description:
The AMZL OTR Capacity Planning team at Amazon India is hiring for a Program Analyst position. We are looking for a candidate with a strong performance record and experience. The AMZL OTR Capacity Planning team comprises short-term resource planners for Out-on-road last mile delivery stations. The aim is to optimize cost, reduce operator cognitive load, increase planning accuracy, and automate processes.
The candidate is expected to:
1. be analytical and justify decisions and approaches with data
2. deal with a high degree of ambiguity
3. take a complex problem and break it down into smaller digestible chunks
4. define a logical and step-by-step approach to achieving a lofty goal
5. be comfortable with processes and process design/analysis
6. deal with varied stakeholders and earn their trust
7. develop a good understanding of Network & Supply Chain with hands-on experience in SQL
Candidate must know and love working with business intelligence tools, be comfortable accessing and working with big data from multiple sources, and be enthusiastic about partnering with the business to deliver results. They should be self-starters, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. They must demonstrate a high bar on Bias for Action, Deep Dive, Learn and Be Curious, Insist on highest standards, and Ownership.
Key Job Responsibilities:
1. Set up robust processes to drive improvement projects with an objective to maximize the consumer experience
2. Identify, plan, and execute automation projects within the team
3. Create and work on big data using SQL, Amazon S3, QuickSight to provide actionable insights, dashboards, and automate systems using Python scripts and macros
4. Support business growth in constrained environments with frugal and innovative solutions
5. Make existing processes scalable by identifying and implementing available tools/automation
6. Roll out standardization of tools and processes to minimize end-to-end supply chain losses & figure out Plan vs Actual gaps, bridges, and waterfalls
7. Utilize exceptional problem-solving and communication skills to influence business, operations, and technical audiences

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Knowledge of SQL/Python/R, scripting, MS Excel, table joins, aggregate analytical functions & data mining
2. Engineering graduate
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Experience in SQL, Data visualization, and advanced Excel
