Job Title: Locum First Contact Physiotherapist/Practitioner Banding: Band 7 Location: Sutton Working Hours: Part-time (2 days - 15 hours) Duration: 3 months Rate: £31.87 per hour Opening Paragraph: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Locum First Contact Physiotherapist/Practitioner to join our team at Cobham and Oxshot GP Practice, part of the Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. This part-time role involves working 2 days a week, totaling 15 hours, and is crucial in providing primary care services to patients with musculoskeletal (MSK) issues. Responsibilities: As a Band 7 Locum First Contact Physiotherapist/Practitioner you will be responsible for assessing and triaging patients with MSK conditions, referring them to other services, and signposting appropriately. You will work closely with GPs and other practice staff to manage patient care effectively. Your role will involve providing expert clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, and ensuring seamless integration with other healthcare services. Additionally, you will educate and support patients, ensuring they are well-informed about their conditions and treatment options. Your expertise will significantly contribute to the overall efficiency and quality of patient care within the practice. Qualifications and Experiences: Worked as a First Contact Practitioner (FCP) in primary care for at least 1 year Stage 1 and 2 of the FCP roadmap to practice signed off Ability to assess and triage patients with MSK issues Experience in referring to other services and signposting appropriately Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with GPs and other practice staff Why work with Pulse?
