A Sales Support Specialist is needed to help the sales team with client management, quotations and administrative duties at a top goods forwarding and logistics company in Essex. Someone with experience in supply chain management, goods forwarding, or logistics who is very proactive and well-organised would be perfect for this position. What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Prepare pricing proposals, quotes, and customer presentations to assist the sales staff.
2. Respond to consumer questions by giving precise details on logistics and freight forwarding services.
3. Keep client information, sales activity, and pipeline changes up to date in the CRM system.
4. To guarantee that shipments are handled smoothly, coordinate with the operations and customer support teams.
5. Help with following up on pending shipments or customer requests, as well as completing sales orders.
6. Keep an eye on rival activity and market developments to give the sales team insights.
7. Create and evaluate sales reports to monitor performance and spot expansion prospects.
