Responsibilities
As Claims Handler, you will be responsible for:-
1. Processing claims documentation from initial notification progressing the case through to a conclusion & completion
2. Providing email and telephone based advice & support to customers within agreed service levels
3. Working to departmental call targets
4. Reviewing claims within your portfolio of customers
5. Investigating queries
6. Reporting & escalating any complaints
7. Chasing outstanding information from customers
8. Maintaining diaries and customer information on company systems.
9. Supporting administration.
Skills Required
As Claims Handler, you will need to be:-
10. Confident in making outbound calls to your customers and contacts.
11. You will take overflow calls from the inbound call team during busy periods.
12. It is essential that you will have an empathetic and calm nature
13. Strong customer service skills ideally in insurance or claims but strong call centre experience will also be considered.
14. Excellent verbal and written communications skills
15. The ability to work to deadlines.
