This is an exciting opportunity to join a next-generation, remote-first, fast-paced creative business in Liverpool. We have an international client base spanning across technology, e-commerce, music and festivals, insurance, real estate, recruitment, finance, construction and many more.
We seek a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our web design company. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between clients, developers, and designers, ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured, translated, and implemented into effective web solutions. This role requires strong analytical skills, an understanding of web development processes, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll be doing day-to-day:
* Review the RFP or Statement of Work and extract high-level requirements to understand the features.
* Performs background research to understand our client's vertical, industry, and market position.
* Defines specific deliverables based on this preliminary information
* Takes time to understand all the use cases for our client's website and the overarching goals they’re trying to achieve with the project.
* Audits and evaluates content on clients' existing websites to make strategic recommendations for improvement.
* Evaluate if there are custom integrations that will need to be built to connect the client's website with other digital solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Experience: 2+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in a web design or digital agency setting.
* Technical Skills:
o Understanding web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms.
o Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or similar project management software.
o Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch).
* Soft Skills:
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
o Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential issues.
* Certifications (Preferred):
o Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP).
o Agile or Scrum certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster).
