Position: Quality Manager
Location: Goole, East Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire
Sector: Food production
Salary: £40,000 negotiable
Hours: Full time, permanent, Monday to Friday days
About the Role:
* Responsible for all aspects of QC and QA in a food production environment.
About You:
* Proven experience of quality management is essential. Experience of food production, food manufacturing or FMCG is very much preferred.
* Experience of BRC, HACCP, TACCP, VACCP.
* Able to develop and maintain quality management systems in line with food safety standards.
* Manage customer interactions regarding complaints and non-conformances.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
* Ensure compliance with food safety culture and hygiene standards.
* Oversee the Quality team's activities to achieve high-quality products.
* Manage the quality budget and ensure operational performance of quality systems.
* Train and mentor staff on quality standards and practices.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Level 3-4 HACCP, TACCP & VACCP qualifications.
* Train the Trainer certification preferred.
* Experience of managing Quality systems to ISO or similar standards.
* Good understanding of lean methodologies.
