Amplius are on the lookout for skilled Electricians to join the team, carrying out responsive repairs, electrical upgrades, and cyclical testing across our properties. If you have the experience and are ready to take on a variety of electrical tasks, we want to hear from you Location : Milton Keynes and surrounding areas (work van and fuel card provided) Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 per year based on your qualifications Contract: Permanent, full time ⏰ Your week : 39 hours (Monday to Friday 8.30am – 6pm) ✨ Snapshot of your role Perform electrical work in line with BS7671 18th edition amendment 2, primarily for domestic properties (occupied and unoccupied). Undertake responsive repairs, cyclical electrical testing, and empty property works. Maintain and service Amplius properties, reporting defects, accidents, and conditions as per company procedures. Participate in a 24-hour on-call service on a rota basis (additional payment provided). Your toolkit for success Customer service experience Experience in occupied and unoccupied domestic properties, including new electrical installations and upgrades Proven knowledge of electrical fixed wire testing, installation, and maintenance (up to 230V) Experience with space heating system installation and maintenance Skilled in all aspects of electrical installation and maintenance Ability to work effectively in a busy team environment and meet deadlines Strong communication, time management, and administrative skills (including electronic certification and tablet use) Adaptability to change and problem-solving approach Understanding of Health and Safety legislation and obligations. City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) & 18th Edition Amendment 2 are both essential requirements for this role.
