Role Overview As a Lecturer in Electrical Installations, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and training to students at various levels, ensuring they develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the electrical industry. You will design and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and support learners in achieving their qualifications. This role is ideal for an experienced electrician who is looking to transition into teaching or an existing lecturer seeking a new challenge in a dynamic learning environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Electrical Installations to a range of students. Support students in developing practical skills in line with industry standards. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Prepare learners for assessments and qualifications, ensuring high success rates. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance course content and delivery. Ensure compliance with awarding body requirements and quality assurance processes. Required Qualifications & Experience A Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installations or a related field. Industry experience as a qualified electrician. A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one. An assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential. Strong communication and organisational skills. A passion for education and mentoring future professionals.
