Job description Looking for a role with real-world impact? Join Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) as an IT service manager and support the defence of the UK. As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing critical defence capabilities and driving technological excellence. You'll become part of a diverse team dedicated to the successful delivery of innovative logistic and engineering applications under the Bridging the Gap (BtG) prime contract with Boeing Defence UK. In addition, you'll take charge of overseeing the service delivery of the AirCore application, managed under a separate prime contract with Unisys. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with both industry suppliers and defence teams, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring seamless service delivery. You'll have the opportunity to lead and manage a variety of activities, from security patching and outage management to in-service changes and safety oversight. You'll also handle commercial governance and financial considerations related to these applications. Plus, you'll work closely with front line command representatives at both staff and command levels, making a tangible difference every day. We champion flexible ways of working. Initially, you may be expected to attend more frequently to familiarise yourselves with the site, the team, and your role.
