Overview of role

As a Paint Sprayer, you'll be responsible for ensuring our customers' vehicles are finished to the highest standard and looking perfect when they leave the bodyshop ready for collection.

Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification
1. To prepare, paint and finish vehicles ensuring that all stages are completed to the highest standard and within the time specified.
2. To report and seek advice on any problems highlighted during the paint spraying process.
3. To provide technical advice where necessary to the Manager and / or customers.
4. To assist in providing on the job instruction to Apprentices in order that they develop the practical skills required.
5. To ensure that all work is carried out with due regard to Health, Safety and Welfare of both employees and customers.
6. To maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and tidy condition.
7. To assist the Body centre management team with the introduction of new methods of work designed to improve efficiency.
8. To carry out any other duties as requested.
Desired Skills and Experience
9. Knowledge of, and experience of adhering to, COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations.
10. Experience of working in line with robust health and safety, environmental and recycling policies.
11. Commitment to understanding and meeting the customer’s needs, to maintain the professional reputation of the facility.
12. Strong time management and organisational skills, to ensure that assigned jobs are completed within estimated times.
13. Good attention to detail, to ensure that all repairs are carried out to the highest possible standard, and in line with best practice procedures.
