Area to be covered: London & South East
Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 Neg. + £10,000-£15,000 uncapped Commission

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Solar PV will involve:
1. Field sales position selling solar PV into domestic, large community and commercial installation.
2. Selling into and managing relationships with business owners/building owner end users, M&E contractors, plumbing and heating contractors, and main contractors.
3. Typical projects include residential, factories, etc.
4. Typical project size £10,000-£50,000 but can be up to £250,000.
5. Projects can vary in length from 3-12 months.
6. Typically 2-3 customer visits per week/home based (lots of calls over Teams).
7. Inheriting an established database of contractors in the area, but you will be expected to add 5-6 contractors per month.
8. Liaising with estimating and project team.
9. 50% new business prospecting, 50% account management role.
10. Revenue target approx. £1m.
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Solar PV with:
1. Must have field sales experience in the plumbing, heating, BMS, or renewable energy associated sectors.
2. Excellent negotiation skills.
3. Previous experience having sold into M&E contractors, plumbing and heating contractor/installers, and main contractors may be useful.
4. Pro-active.
5. On the way up in career.
6. Happy in a small company environment.
7. Self-motivated.
8. IT literate (Microsoft Office).
