An exceptional role has arisen for a polished and articulate (degree standard) Executive Assistant with a background in the art world, within a gallery, auction house, or luxury goods at a senior level. You will have knowledge, experience, and a leaning towards the art world, plus 8 years+ as an Executive Assistant within a similar realm. Top English skills, written and spoken, are essential as you will be drafting emails and writing speeches.
This role is on an international level with a hugely successful Principal who values commitment and discretion. You will be representative of the Founder and have top liaison skills between internal and external members of staff and the team both in the UK and abroad. You must be adept at dealing with all levels of individuals and be happy to take on an ever-changing schedule, including some out of hours if needed.
Responsibilities include:
1. Top diary management, which is fluid and extremely changeable.
2. Logistics and preparation/organisation of travel, covering both UK and abroad, for two weeks of each month.
3. Creating detailed itineraries that include research information and required paperwork.
4. Drafting of emails and preparation of speeches.
5. Preparation of Board meetings and relevant paperwork.
6. Keeping abreast of current projects/issues within the company and acting as a gatekeeper when required.
7. Juggling conflicting requests and agendas while always dealing with individuals in a professional and courteous manner.
8. Assisting and attending events when required.
You should be happy to take on what is needed and roll up your sleeves when required. Flexibility is key, and you should have a positive "can-do" attitude at the forefront of your work. A collegiate attitude is essential, as there is a super team around you and a Family Office that handles most of the private support for the Principal; however, you will be required to handle about 20% of the role, which is personal support (private dinner, gifts, etc.).
Enjoy a fantastic working atmosphere within one of the UK's top teams who are helpful and great to work with. You will be supporting a well-known figure who is continually busy and successful, requiring your 100% commitment to keep his business life flowing properly and on schedule. Excellent package + bonus.
