We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Administrator/Receptionist to join our fantastic team at Plymouth Veterinary Group in Estover. This is a varied role with a strong focus on assisting clients with their insurance claims, ensuring their pet treatment is claimed for promptly and covering other admin tasks and reception duties when required. You will be the link between the client and the clinical team; booking appointments, advising clients on services and offers, taking payment and ensuring the client receives an exceptional customer experience when visiting the practice as well as over the phone. Your day will be spent working with the admin team to complete all tasks within an agreed turnaround and ensuring claims are processed accurately and without delay. Our hospital provides 24/7 care 365 days a year as well as providing an out-of-hours service for other feeder practices within Plymouth. It is well equipped with Digital X-ray, Ultrasound, Laparoscopy, and other diagnostic equipment enabling most first opinion cases to be treated in-house as well as accepting referrals for exotics. The Branches provide spacious consulting rooms and well-equipped theatres allowing for routine treatment to take place close to home, saving on travel across the City. Plymouth is Britain’s Ocean City and presents excellent opportunities for land and water-based activities as well as a vibrant cultural scene, with good access to the Southwest or Europe. More about you Our ideal person will have previous experience in a small companion animal veterinary practice or within a similar fast-paced customer focused industry, however, full training will be provided. You will be a friendly, approachable team player. Have excellent time management skills, be a multi-tasker and have a caring attitude providing support to our clients and their pets. Be computer literate, have good attention to detail and follow data protection guidelines. Your shift pattern You will be covering 40 hours per week working varied shifts between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm which will include a share of weekends.
