Electrical Engineering Lecturer
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time Electrical Engineering Lecturer to work at a fantastic establishment in Hull, starting in September and lasting until at least Christmas 2024. This is to cover a vacant position, so could lead to a temporary to permanent role in the future. This is a 35 hour per week booking, and payment will be between £20 and £40 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
This role will involve teaching post 16 learners Electrical Engineering and as such a background in this area is essential for the role. You will be responsible for all the planning and marking, and will facilitate academic tutorials for students as well. You will be teaching BTEC level 2 and 3 students.
The establishment is located in Hull, and does have some parking on site. There is also a local, cheap car park (parking fees can be reimbursed). It is extremely accessible for candidates who do not drive via public transport.
Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College. You will be put onto all of the same CPD as permanent staff members, and encouraged to grow.
To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
1. Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
2. Have experience working within schools in the UK.
3. Has experience teaching Electrical Engineering.
4. Has experience delivering the Read, Write, Inc specification (desirable)
5. Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
6. CV must cover the full CV History
