Airedale NHS Foundation trust will provide a work placed mentor to provide guidance, support, and knowledge in the Physiotherapy profession. The post holder is required to work as part of Community Rehabilitation Team. Having a driving licence and access to a car is essential for this post. Off the job training will include academic study and clinical placements. It is a requirement that the post holder commits to undertake the formal education of the course and successfully complete all components of the training programme within the required period. Failure to complete the Physiotherapy Apprentice course will lead to termination of the fixed term contact. Main duties of the job An Apprentice Physiotherapy Practitioner uses their developing Physiotherapy knowledge and skills to: Prioritise, plan, and deliver clinical case work withsupport and supervision of a registered Apply evidence based, knowledge and skills relating to rehabilitation Work in partnership with patients, carers, the MDT, and wider statutory, private, and voluntary sector services. Work with team members to ensure the effective functioning of the Participate in quality improvements to develop the Community Rehabilitation Team Contribute to student training and development.
