Factory Operative/Case Maker Role & Responsibility Overtime available paid at time and half week days and Saturdays Job Scope Reporting to the Senior Case Maker / Factory Manager, the role is to carry out all operations required to manufacture finished product ready for delivery in a timely manner as planned through the manufacturing schedule. Responsibilities also include working in accordance to the company policies in terms of Quality Management System, Health and Safety as well as the Environmental policies. Key Responsibilities Daily manufacturing Set own bench area in relation to the work allocated by the Senior Case Maker Carry out any additional operations such as re-cut in preparation for assembly of finished products Assemble finished product using Best Practice Techniques documents as well as all the documentation issued such as Specifications or drawings Ensure that the finished product quality is in line with specification and client expectations Ensure that the finished products are stamped, stencilled and labelled as per the specification Raise any issues or queries with the Senior Case Maker Ensure the finished product assembly is carried out within the allocated timescales. Maintain quality control and adhere to Company requirements in line with ISO9001 Quality Management System Location all finished products in designated area. Additional Duties Support the business by working in other areas of the operation such as mill or riveting whenever required General duties Report faults/safety hazards to Senior Case Maker to any machinery or process, adhering to company policies and procedures Ensure that shopfloor housekeeping standards are maintained at all times. Maintained health & safety standards at all times. Report any concerns back to the Production Supervisor. Ensure that Standards as outline in ISO 9001 and ISPM15 guidelines are maintained and followed at all times
