Our client is a thriving Creative Agency. We are recruiting for a New Business Development role. This role is a New Business focused Business Development role, entirely focused on developing new clients. Ultimately your focus will be winning clients to then be handed off to a client service team.
Role and Responsibilities
New Business Development focused entirely on new prospective clients.
The role will include all key activities to develop prospects, manage the pitch process, work through to close and contracting of new business.
Summary of the key activities:
Cold Calling and Prospecting: This includes cold calling on the phone, email, Linkedin and other mediums.
Database Management: manage the CRM database of contacts, as well as continue to update and have regular communication with all prospects.
Prospective Client Satisfaction: Tactically and proactively ensure that client satisfaction is maintained, regardless of circumstances to maintain and retain a positive position within a client portfolio.
General: carry out tactical tasks requested by Business development Management team. In both business development and securing of new clients; and supporting the daily support of the team
Versatility: The nature of our business is that all our projects are bespoke, so tasks may be many and varied, client and projects as required and deemed necessary by the management team.
Achieving Target – achieving sales target on a regular basis is essential to the ongoing success of this role.
Qualifications and Education
A degree is beneficial, but not essential. Ability to do the role is much more important than qualifications.
Preferred Skills
Strong sales background working for either; Growth Marketing, Advertising or Creative Agency
Excellent communication skills
MS Office Suite
Salesforce
A proven track record of new business development
Additional Notes
The role is a full time employed hours 9.00am to 6.00pm and requires travel and flexibility.
