Location: Cowbridge
Salary: Up to £26,142 per annum + Additional £5,000 for Sleep-Ins
Sleep-Ins: £50 per sleep-in (approximately £5,000 extra annually)
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people? We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join our client in Cowbridge. This is an exciting opportunity to further your career in a supportive and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential home.
2. Lead and mentor a team of support workers, ensuring that all care is delivered to the highest standard.
3. Develop and implement care plans, ensuring that they are tailored to the individual needs of each child.
4. Maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for all residents.
5. Work closely with management and other professionals to ensure the well-being and development of the children in your care.
Requirements:
6. A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce (CYP) or equivalent.
7. At least 1 year of experience working in a children's home.
8. Strong leadership and communication skills.
9. A genuine passion for working with children and young people.
10. Ability to work flexible hours, including sleep-ins.
