Are you an experienced Quality and Testing professional looking for a new challenge? If so, this is a great opportunity to develop and grow a function, set testing and quality standards and policy across Technology supporting the group objectives.
The role of Technology QA Manager will include:
1. Leading the management, development and ongoing maintenance of Technology QA services across the Group and ensuring that they are efficient, fit-for-purpose, robust and integrated.
2. Leading the delivery of new and integrating existing Testing services to meet the future needs of the Group, ensuring effective appraisal of new technologies and their suitability in meeting Group needs, including scalability.
3. Managing the delivery of Testing services through effective budget management, including managing external suppliers to ensure they are cost effective and value for money, with efficiencies achieved where possible.
4. Making recommendations for and delivering improvements to Technology services, assessing the suitability of new procedures and technologies to ensure effective delivery of departmental and Group objectives.
5. Building, developing and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure delivery of technology services and developments, in line with Group objectives.
Skills and experiences:
1. Deep understanding and experience of implementing and embedding a Testing framework in line with best practices.
2. Strong background in leading a team and quality assuring activity, as well as hands-on test management.
3. Proven experience of delivering waterfall and agile projects and programmes across multiple diverse businesses.
4. Occasional travel may be a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential.
