Our company has an exciting opportunity for a Pet Sales Advisor in our branch on the Broadway in Plymstock.
About the Post
This is a 30 hour per week full-time role. This role requires the post holder to be flexible working across a varied week, including weekends. It is important to us that our customers always receive a high standard of customer service, this includes:
1. Meeting and greeting customers;
2. Advising and guiding on our products, livestock, and services;
3. The presentation of the store and merchandise;
4. Processing transactions promptly on the till point, which is key to the customer experience.
The Pet Sales Advisor role also includes day-to-day tasks such as:
1. Stock rotation;
2. Unloading and storing deliveries;
3. Replenishing products on the shop floor.

About the Person
We are looking for an energetic and motivated person to join an established team who can contribute to the success of The Ark pet store.
The person for this role has a passion for giving the best advice on products for customers' pets and providing excellent customer service.
The individual should be reliable, enthusiastic, and determined to support the company’s daily demands and challenges while meeting their own goals within the role.
You should be self-motivated to plan and organise your day and fulfil your key tasks and responsibilities to the highest standard.
Someone who can build and retain relationships with existing and new customers and meet or, in some instances, exceed customer expectations. You must be willing to display a good understanding of the company’s brand image, products, and services you will advise and promote.
You will have excellent customer service experience spanning 3 years or more and be confident at dealing with a variety of different customers in adapting environments and challenging circumstances.
Someone who has a high standard of communication skills and can work as part of a team as well as independently, being flexible in their approach to their work.
An individual who can use their initiative to fulfil the demands of the role and other tasks required.
An individual who has a keen interest in learning from others and developing themselves to enhance their knowledge within the role to a high standard.

Pay: Up to £11.44 per hour
