Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and qualified Secondary School English Teacher to join a thriving school in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator committed to inspiring students and delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.
Role Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons (Literature & Language) in line with the UK curriculum.
* Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student progress and enthusiasm for English.
* Assess, mark, and provide constructive feedback to pupils.
* Contribute to departmental initiatives and extracurricular activities (e.g., debating, literacy programs).
* Collaborate with colleagues to support inclusive education and differentiation for all learners.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs welcome to apply).
* Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching English at secondary level.
* Ability to engage students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
