Preparing monthly business reporting pack for the business entity Monthly & quarterly financial group reporting groups systems. Project Accounting, providing support to Project Managers. Project Accounting, monthly milestone & work in progress calculations including adjustments. Project Accounting variance analysis calculations actual v’s projected costs & margins Analysing costs, revenue, and profitability trends, providing actionable insights and implementing cost-saving measures to maximise Gross Profit and Operating Result. Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting. Annual completion of Statutory accounts and taxation pack (knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS101, FRS102 & IFRS reporting) Assisting external statutory and internal financial auditors Assisting with the annual operative planning process, supporting managers with preparation and finalising with the group Commercial support for the Management team, Sales teams, Project teams and Procurement. Communicating identified risks and opportunities Sales & Purchase ledger management Working capital management Cash Flow management Stock Management, including stock tracking and adjustments, cycle checks, devaluation of stock calculations etc Payroll and pension processing and submissions, including BIK / P11D reporting Weekly KPI reporting VAT returns Monthly CIS submissions Assisting with annual R&D calculations & claims Building relationships with external sources (bank, legal, auditors, tax advisors, customers, suppliers) Improving internal controls & managing internal process improvements Support / coordination of Continuous Improvement activities Contribute to meetings through active participation and constructive challenge. Ad hoc improvements across the business supporting all Senior Managers Close involvement with parent company Management of Intra-group netting procedures Management of leasing/hire cars Company credit card management Timesheet system management Qualifications: Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) Proven experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Applications e.g. Word and Excel, including financial modelling, pivot tables, and data analysis Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders Sage 200 / Eque2 Construction experience desirable Commercial awareness Positive and proactive in your approach Logical, methodical and tidy The ability to work under pressure.
