Robert Half is supporting their client, a Global Consulting Firm, in seeking a Business Continuity and Operational Resilience Business Analyst to support a critical insurance-focused business continuity project. This role is designed to alleviate pressure on the business by providing specialised expertise in business continuity and operational resilience, particularly within the insurance claims sector. The ideal Business Analyst will have a robust background in business analysis within financial services, with extensive experience in business continuity. Insurance sector experience is highly desirable.
Contract Assignment Details:
* Location: Remote (with flexibility for infrequent travel to one of the client’s office locations in Hampshire, Tyne and Wear, or Kent. Travel expenses to non-home locations can be covered as required).
* Duration: Initial 3 months (with potential extension).
* Day Rate: £550-600 per day via PAYE (PAYE with employer's NI & Tax deducted at source - unlike umbrella companies and no umbrella company admin fees).
Responsibilities & Required Experience:
* Business Continuity Focus: Lead efforts to draft and execute a comprehensive business continuity proposal, ensuring the organisation is well-prepared for potential disruptions.
* Operational Resilience: Bring expertise in operational resilience, including testing and workshop facilitation, to ensure a structured approach to continuity. Familiarity with testing methodologies is highly desirable.
* Insurance Sector Expertise: Experience in the insurance sector is highly desirable to address claims-specific challenges effectively.
* Workshops and Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops with key business stakeholders to drive business continuity planning, testing, and operational resilience efforts. Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with business and technical teams.
* Proposal Development: Collaborate with business and technical teams to create a detailed and structured wrapper for Protiviti’s business continuity proposal, addressing all critical elements.
* Pressure Management: Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple competing priorities while delivering clear, actionable plans.
Reason for Travel: Running workshops in the specified office locations.
