We are currently looking for Engineers on both Day shift and Night shift.
Support the maintenance activity within the department (Preventative and Breakdown maintenance and Improvement activities) to assist in the delivery of an effective operation on a day-to-day basis and in the future.
Monitor and investigate opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment performance, using KPI’s and Visual Management techniques.
Core Responsibilities
* Undertake a programme of Planned Preventative Maintenance and condition monitoring for key equipment & machinery across the manufacturing areas, to ensure that machinery & equipment is maintained correctly and operates safely and as efficiently as possible.
* Prioritise activities such as reactive maintenance, breaks etc. in order to provide a fast response to breakdowns within the manufacturing areas to ensure that equipment “up time” is kept to a maximum.
* Actively support and encourage a programme of TPM and assist with the training of colleagues in the relevant activities, in accordance with H&S and engineering legislative codes of practice policies and procedures.
* Inform line management of any damage suspected of being due to mistreated use of equipment or machinery.
* Ensure that tools or equipment used for maintenance purposes abide by Health & Safety regulations and report to the Engineering Manager if this is not the case.
* Support additional maintenance tasks across the UK sites as and when requested.
* Support with general office maintenance requests.

* Support other teams and functions as required by the business.
* Undertake self-development activities as required by the business.
* Undertake any other tasks or duties as required by your line manager.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices operated by the Company.
* Liase with Coordinator to establish requirements.
* Conform to health and safety procedures.
* Meet targets and maintain KPI’s.
* Manage and ensure full and timely completion of assigned or identified projects.
* Maintain a hygienic, clean and tidy working environment at all times.
* Ensure conformance to work wear requirements.
