WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING
As a Reservation Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have the very best experience from the point of enquiry via telephone, email, and face-to-face.
THE DUTIES
1. Manage new and existing individual room reservations through telephone, email, and website reservations.
2. Anticipate needs and proactively provide solutions so that our guests’ expectations are not only met but exceeded.
3. Keep an eye on our booking channels.
4. Maximise revenue and identify sales opportunities.
5. Updating reservations ensuring a flawless arrival and departure experience.
6. Communicate with the Front Office Team or Restaurants Team to facilitate the guests’ stay.
7. Step in for the Reservation Manager when needed.
8. We believe in flexibility and multi-skilling, and you may be asked to do different tasks from time to time to enable us to meet the needs of our guests and other Team Members.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
1. Have a true passion for hospitality and service.
2. Previous experience in hotel reservations is preferred but not mandatory – it’s all about how you contribute to the team! We can teach you what you need to know.
3. A confident & dynamic speaker, able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels.
4. You’re great with computers and hopefully have knowledge of Opera.
5. Since we have guests from all over the world, speaking additional languages is an advantage.
6. Competent level of English spoken and written.
7. Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of handling multiple tasks at the same time.
8. Having a reliable method of transportation to the hotel is essential – we have no on-site parking.
