The Sales Executive/Business Development Manager role We are seeking one last individual to join our sales team in the region and as such, are open mind and flexible to tailoring the role to suit the strengths of our chosen individual. That is to say we can offer either a full-sales cycle territory role (including both existing customer account management alongside a stretching new business target) OR a 100% puerile new business ‘hunting’ role. Either way, our sales roles will provide the opportunity to interact and develop relationships with often high profile & well-known brands within the wider industrial & e-commerce sectors. You will act as the main contact for your assigned customers and be responsible for successfully delivering solutions that meet their needs. Your success shall also be measured against new customer acquisition/account growth and gross profit targets. You will therefore be required to proactively identify & capitalize on all opportunities to increase sales/profitability by utilizing a solution led sales approach. Key Duties Create and implement a business plan for allocated territory to maximize sales, whilst always delivering excellent standards of customer service & support Adopt a consultative approach with clients in tailoring appropriate solutions to meet needs whilst developing/maintaining a strong knowledge of all packaging solutions and full product range Prospect for potential new customers and turn this into increased business Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities Meet potential clients growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within client companies Research and build relationships with new clients Plan approaches, sales presentations, and pitches Meet yearly and monthly sales targets assigned to you Maintain strong sales administration including use of CRM (MS Dynamics) to follow up all leads, enquiries/quotes Do you have the correct profile? As mentioned, you can either be a ‘pedigree’ BDM or experienced territory sales account manager who also enjoys new business sales. You will have a consultative and collaborative sales style and must reside on patch within the Northwest region. You will be presentable, polished, intelligent, and articulate, commercially aware, goal orientated and self-driven.
