Position: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Hampshire
Salary: To £40k p.a + Bonus & Benefits

The Role
Coordinate & deliver engineering activities ensuring the requirements for a product line or product group are met & complied with, in terms of forecasted output, product quality, adherence to specification & on-time delivery.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with senior engineers & management in the execution of tasks for engineering projects
2. Communicate with project stake-holders the status of assigned tasks.
3. Collect, present and analyse data for reports submitted for the purpose of project evaluation
4. Collaborate with experienced & graduate engineers day-to-day tasks, medium/long-term projects, training, mentoring & development
5. Develop processes and ensure best possible quality and reduce waste
6. Increase efficiency by analysing and planning work flow, space requirements and equipment layout, identify, measure, monitor & report on process indicators or other measurables to help drive improvement
7. Use of documented Standard Operating Procedures, Process Capability to continuously verify & validate manufacturing processes
8. Assist senior engineers/management in identifying and documenting, recording, & reporting on procedures, processes & key performance indicators
9. Additional responsibilities include Production Support & Training, Customer Support Quality Support, New Products & Process Introduction, Maintenance
Skills/Qualifications/Experience
1. Minimum HNC or HND in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline
2. Preferable: A degree qualification; BEng/MEng in an engineering or scientific discipline e.g electronics, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering
3. Experience: A minimum of 2 years working in a relevant manufacturing environment
