The Role
The Law Society is the independent professional body for solicitors in England and Wales. We are the voice of solicitors, driving excellence in the profession, safeguarding the rule of law and protecting access to justice. As Membership Development Manager you will manage and coordinate the Society's membership engagement, growth, recruitment and onboarding strategy.The role will encompass a range of activities and projects, including the development and continuous improvement of the membership communications and engagement strategy and the Society's volunteer strategy; leading on the development and implementation of cross-organisational strategic membership projects and the Society's member offer; development/implementation of new and enhanced membership packages; building relationships with other organisations, for example, specialist legal associations, universities, SQE providers, to establish communication mechanisms with potential new members and to engage existing members in more of the Society's offer.
