Technical Manager Permanent opportunity due to expansion to cover the South Wales & West area to be based in either Cardiff or Bristol office. Reporting to the Regional Development Director you will be responsible for managing and ensuring the effective delivery of developments from a technical discipline. An excellent communicator who would be comfortable leading meetings and presenting to clients and the senior leadership team. About the role The role will comprise the technical management and timely progression of mixed tenure residential projects through prestart stage to physical start on site and to provide support to the build stage accordingly. You will be familiar with and be able to: Co-ordinate and manage the design team and specialist subcontractors Process Manage design interfaces between packages. Technically evaluate scheme proposals ensuring planning and building control matters are addressed Appraise new building products and legislation You will have previous experience within a similar role, along with residential new build experience in both private sale and social housing markets with excellent leadership qualities and good leadership skills. We also ask that you hold a degree qualification and / or professional membership in the Building or Civil Engineering field, which is essential to the role.
