About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Inclusion Support Worker to join our SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Stockport. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people.
As an Inclusion Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with SEMH needs, helping them engage with their education in a positive and productive manner. You will provide tailored support to students on a 1:1 or small group basis, working alongside teachers and other staff to create an inclusive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students with SEMH needs, ensuring their engagement and participation in school activities.
Work closely with teachers to implement individualized learning plans.
Assist with managing behaviour and promoting positive social interactions.
Provide emotional support to students, helping them build confidence and resilience.
Monitor and track student progress and well-being, providing feedback to staff and parents.Essential Skills and Experience:
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH or other learning difficulties is preferred.
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
