Technical Sales Representative
Brighton
Salary: £30K + (£12K - £15K) commission
Are you a skilled Technical Sales Professional with a passion for building client relationships and delivering technical solutions? Hunter’s prestige IT technology client is looking for a talented technical sales representative to drive business growth and bridge the gap between the technical and commercial functions.
Working hours: 35 hours, 8:30am-5:00pm Monday – Thursday; 8:30am-12:30pm Friday
Responsibilities
1. Identify and develop sales opportunities within engineering, manufacturing, computing, and networking sectors.
2. Provide technical guidance to clients, translating complex solutions into customer-friendly insights.
3. Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
4. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and support.
5. Work closely with technical and commercial teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in technical sales, ideally within engineering, manufacturing, computing, or networking.
2. Strong ability to translate technical concepts into customer-focused solutions.
3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
4. A results-driven mindset with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
5. A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
